As of 05/17/09 we use the following banner sizes: 88x31, 120x60, 125x125, 120x240, 120x600, 160x600, 180x150, 468x60 and 728x90.

Affiliates

If you are a merchant and would like us to include your banner or product in the Shopping section or anywhere on the site on a revshare basis, please contact to have the banner posted or to join your program. CafeYak.com is a member of Commission Junction, Linkshare, Connect Commerce, Amazon and ShareASale networks. We also work with PopShops and GoldenCan.

Each and every affiliate is listed in the relevant Shopping section with an 88x31 or 120x60 logo banner.
Select affiliates are featured with a 728x90 top banner or 125x125, 120x240, 120x600 side banner in the relevant content section. For example, if you are a Travel merchant, your 728x90 banner will be placed within the Travel section. Please contact us if you see a fit in a different section. However, we want to keep it relevant for our visitors, as well as help your conversions. These banners are updated on a monthly basis.
Select affiliates are featured in the Shopping corner on content pages with a relevant product. We believe this will expedite conversions. Please Contact if you'd like to feature a product on a specific page. Product updates are done on a monthly basis.
Select affilaite links are featured as Deal of the Week on relevant content or shopping pages. These deals are updated weekly. If you'd like to feature a deal, please let us know by Friday and we will do our best to post it, pending editorial review.
Select affiliate products are featured with a PopShop tool in our Product Picks on all the main section (e.g. Baby, Food, etc.) and Shopping pages. These product picks are updated weekly.

Mommy Mail Newsletter

Thanks for your story on Valentine's Day crafting. We had a lot of fun with these. I wasn't comfortable letting my son use the scissors yet. At what age is it safe for them to use the scissors?

Answer:

Safety scissors (scissors with blunt edges) are safe to use starting at the age of 2.5-3 once your kids demonstrate good control of the handle. However, stick with all-plastic safety scissors for a while vs. plastic covered metal scissors which are more likely to cause an accident. Supervise any crafting activity or do a project together and show your child how to hold and use the scissors correctly. Try "Open them, Shut them" song for a quick scissors lesson and practice, practice, practice. Once your kids are in school, they can transition to regular scissors.
