Banana Butterscotch Muffins

I love the taste of butterscotch chips - slightly nutty and decadently sweet. They are a great company to bananas, chocolate and cinnamon in this easy and delicious muffin recipe. We are substituting some vegetable oil with apple sauce to make them a little lighter. It's a perfect recipe for a sweet breakfast or a nice snack on a rainy afternoon. Have your kids help you make them and they will love the taste even more!

Serves 12 muffins

Ingredients:

• 3 bananas
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup butterscotch chips
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup apple sauce
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 2/3 cups flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
